Sera Gamble wake up! Kripke come back!

Viewers are very unhappy with the Lisa storyline. And it's not just my opinion. Search the forums and you'll find anti-lisa threads. I'll repeat one more time why this story is stupid and shallow:

* Lisa showed up in this show in TKAA episode (seasosn 3), she was again in DALDOM but everyone knows the actress was hired because another actor couldn't play. There were no plans for "Lisa"
* Lisa having a child is not an advantage. The whole meeting in TKAA and a little mistery whether Dean is Ben's father is a shallow method of creating interest in the show. Idea taken from a cheap romance.
*  after almost three seasons: BAM out of nowhere comes Lisa and we are supposed to believe that Dean has been imagining himself with her for years. That's stupid. Long-term fans will never buy this!
* I've never ever had an impression that "normal" is what he wanted: in the first season he was saying how he liked hunting and wanted to keep Sam with him, the same in second and third. He didn't like "manicured lawns", he chose real life instead of some crappy-happy illusion in "What is and what should never be"; he came to conclusion that hunting is his life in "It's a terrible life". Even the hell experience didn't change the fact that the most important person in his life was Sam.
* Dean's very traumatic events in the past did not cause desire to end up with boring housewife.
* Lisa is boring, bland, stupid, terrible mother, desperate housewife who would do anything to keep Dean in her life, very selfish and wishes Sam to be dead. She is nothing more than a nodding dog.
* She doesn't have any of the qualities that Dean would love in a woman...

All the above resulted in Dean's destroyed character. Instead of writting a new good character for Dean, SG rewrote Dean to fit in with Lisa.

Will this misery ever end? Will Dean be Dean again? When will the writers stop forcing Lisa into each episode? I don't know if long-term fans are going to have enough patience to find out.

Eric Kripke, please come back and save the show......

Ratings dropping, brotherly love still missing

[...]While executive producer and showrunner Sera Gamble stopped short of telling us when Sam would re-soul up (it definitely won’t happen before midseason), she said we should look for “a new sort of brotherly rapport” to develop between the pair, beginning with this week’s fairy episode, written by veteran Supernatural scribe Ben Edlund.

“I can only speak for myself, but I kind of find it charming and enjoyable in its own twisted way,” Gamble told EW. “I would never say that it replaces the core relationship that we all love and we all want them to go back to and that Dean is desperately trying to recapture, but for where we are with the story right now, there’s something sort of interesting and fun happening.” *

OMG, Sera Gamble do you really find this broken bond interesting and fun? Brothers are at odds, Dean has no purpose to be in this show (because you deprived him of all great qualities by sending him to Hell called Lisa's house), Sam without soul was intresting for one or two episodes but now his story is boring and irritating. How about other stories? So many new characters were indroduced but they either were killed or just vanished. Half of the screen time is dedicated to whining Dean and cold-hearted Sam.

Calling this mess charming and enjoyable is insluting for the viewers.

Clap you hands if you believe

I was waiting for this episode. The preview was quite interesting and I expected this to be one of those funny episodes. However, I didn't have much fun watching it.
In fact, in this episode, it was even more bizarre to see Sam acting like "the old Dean" and Dean being so clumsy.

The epi' started with a flashback of Lisa telling Dean "I didn't expect Sam to come back, but the minute he walked through that door I knew it was over" ...ugh... what's the purpose of showing this when she only was mentioned during the CYHIYB?

Seriously, SG is obsessed with her OC. I don't clap my hands -  I don't believe in writers/producers.
This season is getting more and more unbearable to watch

Is it going to be any better?

On Friday, 19th Nov,  there's going to be new episode of SN " Clap you hands if you believe". I dread this episode because.... Lisa was mentioned in the preview. It simply means the writers are not over this storyline.
There is no reason to mention her, people are frustrated already.

I came to conclusion that writers are either:
1) trying to end the Lisa/Ben storyline "the right way" which means do not rush (because they've made mistake with the completly unexpected start of Lisa/Ben)
2) or end the season with Dean going back to Lisa for good.

I hate the second option. No matter how often we are going to watch angsting Dean, mooning over Lisa etc., it is never going to convince me that Dean loves Lisa. There have been very serious mistakes with this storyline. Showing the "mooning", "missing" or whatever other crap so often that I finally start saying: "oh, Dean should go back to Lisa" is the lamest solution ever...
And of course second option means definite end of Supernatural. At least for me. If I only knew that second option is gonna "win", I'd stop watching the show right now.

Oh, dear God, please make a miracle and expunge Lisa from the show. (Ben has already vanished, so I don't mention him).

All dogs go to Heaven

Season 6, episode 8

I've seen better episodes, even this season. Everything was just a background to the "RoboSam" storyline. That would be ok... but I have an impression that we do not move forward with this. RoboSam is creepy and he is apologizing (again), Dean feels betrayed and miserable (again).

What I disliked the most about this episode was of course Lisa. I know that she wasn't in this episode but her spirit haunts this show. Instead of Lisa herself there were similarities whith the Lisa/Dean & Lucky/woman situation. I have to say it was shallow. Viewers are not morons and there is no need to compare Dean to Lucky in order to let us know Dean is unhappy. That he wanted a family. The writers now want us to belive that all Dean ever wanted was to live a life at the suburbs as a construction worker with dump girl by his side.

After all that he has been through, he is miserable. We get that. Dean was miserable through the S4 & S5. And that is enough. Besides, after what Lisa said about Sam to Dean, she should be permanently excluded from this show.

Honestly, what purpose does Lisa serve? None!

*her relationship with Dean didn't make him mature
*her relationship with him made Dean more miserable, unhappy, incapable of making simple decisions and destroyed funny, flirty man
*Lisa addmited she preferd Sam to be dead

Showing Dean angsting over Lisa/Ben dosn't make him mature or more responsible. He was responsible for many things since Season 1 episode 1. He always cared for his family and for other people (after all he was saving them from evil forces). Now, when Lisa said it would be better if Sam stayed dead, showing Dean thinking about calling Lisa is pathetic!

I want to puke everytime I see or hear antything that has something to do with Lisa.

Hello writers & producers, I think it is time for some exorcism and getting rid of Lisa's spirit once and for all. After all it is Supernatural, isn't it?

Family Matters

Season 6, episode 7

Finally, a very good episoe. Feels like the "old SN" is back.
There was great chemistry between brothers. Sam & Dean were cooperating. The action was fast and interesting because it was Lisa-free episode! It resulted in improvement of Dean's character. He could speak for himself, be funny and self confident.

Now I can officially say it looks like EVERY woman in this show, excpet for Lisa, has a good chemistry with Dean. I am referring to Dean and Gwen converstation. They looked quite interesting... and like there could be something going on in the future... if they weren't related of course.

One more time: good episode because there was NO LISA!

You can't handle the truth

Season 6, episode 6

I didn't like it at all.
I hate when the writer/producers mess up with the brother bond. It is really annoying and boring.
But from the YCHTT we also have Lisa between Sam & Dean. The brother were fighting against the Godess of Truth - Veritas. Veritas "infected" Dean in a way that he could only get the truth from other people. During the time when Dean was cursed Lisa called. Finally, she showed some true emotions.Lisa addmited that Sam was an obstacle for her. Despite the fact, that she knew Dean was miserable and not healing emotionally while he was with her, she wanted to keep him for herself. The drinking problem ws not that important as long as Dean was away from Sam and away from friends from his past. The selfish woman isolated Dean to create ideal world. Only, the perfect world was an illusion. The relationship worked when Dean was fulfilling her instuctions. His needs didn't matter.
He never opened up to her. Living with her didn't bring any calmness to his life.
To make matters worse, Lisa said the brothers "have the most unhealthy, tangled up, crazy thing" which clearly hows what an ignorant she is. Not understanding how important is Sam to Dean speaks volumes about Lisa. Saying Dean can't ever be happy as long as Sam is in his life means "the end" of Dean&Lisa. Or maybe I should say... "should mean the end" but since SG is in charge we can never be sure what ridiculous storyline the future may bring.

The whole thing with living the apple-pie life was a result of Dean's promise made to Sam. Not Dean's choice or desire. It has been done this way to start the new season with a brand new storyline which was supposed to be good and evoloving.
Well, it is not for me. It only demaged my favourite show. Lisa/Ben storyline slows the action and creates completely different Sam & Dean.
The role reversal IMO is the weakest point of S6. Dean saying he wanted to be out of hunting & Sam as coldhearted hunter? That is way too much screwed.
It is sad bacause it proves the writers don't have any better ideas for SN.

Live free or Twi-hard

Season 6, episode 5

Ugh.. Lisa again...  naturally she was so pleased that Dean decided to come round. Yeah... that is exactly what singles mothers do: they are ready at any time for the return of a lover. At least this is how it works in SN S6. And the lover returned as a vampire. He wanted to say goodbye. And thank her. But there was no the "three words". Yeah, Dean was just attached to the wife of Stepford.
The vapire-Dean at Lisa's house was a great danger to her and Ben. But as usuall she acted like nodding dog and was ready to do anything to keep Dean for herself. Even when Dean shoved Ben at the wall she responded with a great delay.
What else can I add? The worst written female character on this show.

Weekend at Bobby's

Season 6, episode 4

Great episode. No Lisa in it. She was just mentioned by whining Dean.

The Third Man

Season 6, episode 3

The plot is different than I imagined.... I saw the Apocalypse again instead of hunting.Oh, the writers wanted to convince us that Lisa was not some random lover by showing a love scene between L&D. Luckily it was short!

Definitely the Impala was back, not Dean. Dean on the phone with Ben was so like a completely strange character. This is exactly what I was afraid of from the beginig: Dean is not going to be himself anymore, he is going to be a pathetic, boring, domesticated "daddy" on the phone with Lisa or Ben in every episode.
How is that storyline any good for the show?

Two and a Half Men

Season 6, episode 2

This episode had more "old SN spirit" than the first one.
However, I did not enjoy soap opera parts (Dean & Lisa before the hunting and after).Their life was so unreal. Who can afford to quickly change the house? Move to anather town?Of course "the great Lisa" can. She was no better in this episode: acted like a complite ignorant of the danger that comes with living with a hunter. Dean was freaked out that something may come to their house, but she remained calm. In fact she didn't understand what Dean was going through (after living with him for a year!), the most important for her was that Ben couldn't ride his bike. She didn't care for Ben's safety. Whoever wrote Lisa's part dosn't understnd how mothers care for their children. A woman who was supposed to support the man she loved, was just furious that they couldnt'd do what she wanted (like go out for a dinner!)

The part after the hunting was the most frustrating. Lisa, who was desperate all past year to keep Dean for herself, kicked him off the house. However, with an option "you come when you can". Hahahahaha.... this is not mature, this is pathetic... Just when she realized Dean's heart lies with Sam&hunting, she changed her strategy.

I wish Dean could make decisions for himself. That would be "old" Dean, independent.

Unfortuanatly Lisa had to decide for him.... I was hoping Dean would reject the "apple-pie life" by himself.

And what I disliked the most are the babies. I hate babies on the shows like SN. In the first part of the episode I hated Dean's realtionship with Ben and Ben himself. Later during the episode I hated the monster-baby and how Dean was attached to him.

The role reversal doesn't work for me. Soft, domesticated Dean & cold, arrogant Sam are getting on my nerves.

Exile on Main Street

The first episode of Series 6. Unfortunatly with the new storyline: Lisa/Ben.
We could learn from the very first minutes of the episode how miserable Dean's last year was. He lived boring, unsatisfaying life as a construction worker and Lisa was no help for him (which is no surprise for me).

*Dean had nigtmares about Sam - Lisa couldn't help.
*Dean was drinking too much - Lisa couldn't help.
*When djin infected Dean and his halucinacions started, Lisa was suspiciously calm and even mad at Dean, that he started freaking out and thinking about hunting.... (the scene when she entered the garage and found Dean looking for some weapon tells a lot about her unhealthy attitude).

However, later during the EOMS Lisa prooved how miserable woman she was. Just after she realized Dean was considering leaving her, she performed the most stupid ever peech. She said that the last year was the best in her life.... (how is that possible? living with a former hunter, who lost his brother and was abusing alcohol) and used Ben to convince Dean to stay.
This is not how independed women act. This was an example of pathertic and desperate housewife.

Swan Song

Season 5 episode 22.
This should be epic epiosode.... "should" but things turned out to be different.
The episode was quite good till the moment when:
* Cas was resurected
* Chuck performed some silly narration (like in the fairy tales)
* Dean went to Lisa's place, though that was the last thing he wanted to do after his brother sacrified himself

Going back to Lisa/Ben storyline. From "99 Problems" writers were trying to indroduce Lisa to the show and start the new season with her. Well, this is why (before the battle between Michael & Lucifer) Sam forced Dean to promise to go to Lisa after the Apocalypse. Sam's intention was to provide Dean happy life with a family. Only, the family wasn't truly Dean's and the relation between Dean/Lisa/Ben wasn't developed in any natural way. or.

99 Problems

Season 5 episode 17.
The most stupid and inexplicable thing happened. Since unfortunate 3.10 (DALDOM) Lisa was never mentioned nor Dean dreamed of her. And here she is again. At the end of the episode Dean goes to her place. Who the hell knows why? She was never presented as someone important to him - just one of many women of his life.
Nevertheless, he went to say that bad thing were going to happen and that he would do anything to protect Lisa & Ben.
Lisa looked like she was waiting for Dean to show up. Strange thing for a mother who surely had planty things on her mind. And she was willing to inivite Dean to stay (and judging by the look on her face she wanted him to stay for as long as possible). Please note, that Dean was almost complite stranger to her.

Dream a little dream of me

Ok, the socond episode with Lisa. She is on the screen for few seconds in Dean's dream. For me it really looked odd because Lisa was never even mentioned after the TKAA. Then I found out that she originally she wasn't supposed to be in this episode. Unfortunatly some actor was not available at that time.

The kids are alright

First episode were Lisa appears. Second of series 3.
She was presented as an independent woman who could raise a child on her own. We also found out she spent one weekend with Dean about 9 years earlier and with other men too (she addmited she had to do a test to confirm, who was the father of her son) - and that was all about their so called "relationship".

out out demons! out!

This applies to you Lisa Braedan! This a blog for Lisa sceptics.
